Bio: In 1974, Karen Lavallee started a career that has included sales, training, management and Realtor leadership. She has always set high standards for herself and leads by example. Karen is a third generation West Seattle resident and has a deep knowledge of her market place. Karen has been awarded the nationally recognized Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), based on her continued education. She was awarded her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) based on her years of experience and the large number of transactions she has closed. She has also earned her Graduate of Realtors Institute ('Realtor College') from the Washington Association of Realtors. In 1998 Karen completed a series of classes through Windermere Education to complete the requirements for her 'Senior Specialist' designation. In 2002 she received certification for her commitment to the highest quality customer service. The QSC certification is especially valuable to her clients, current as well as potential, because it must continuously be re-earned through client feedback after every transaction. Karen has been selected by her peers as Realtor of the Year as a result of her continued leadership. In 1991 she was elected President of the Seattle King County Association of Realtors. Since then, she has stayed involved in the Association at the local and state level by teaching classes on Ethics and Professional Standards of Practice.
