Bio: George started to perform home inspections in 1978, as a sideline to his award-winning remodeling business. By 1987, he decided to concentrate on the home inspections and construction consulting aspects of his work. George is the president of Sound Home Inspections Inc. In addition to performing inspections, George also provides information about the home improvement industry to the general public. He is regular contributor to various publications. He has appeared on various television programs and was the Saturday morning KING Radio's popular Home Improvement Expert. As a certified member of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), George's inspections follow the ASHI standards of practice and comply with the ASHI Code of Ethics. The organization requires that its members keep up with an ongoing educational program. ASHI also provides support, education and information to its members thus promoting quality professional standards in the home inspection profession. In 1996, George launched the Sound Home Resource Center Web site to take advantage of the Web's ability to provide multi-media-rich information on home improvement to people nationally (as well as internationally) and to create an interactive dialogue with those interested in the subject.
