Bio: Since 1974 Jim Freeman has been involved in real estate development, finance, construction, marketing and sales. While majoring in mathematics at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Washington in Seattle he began simply by purchasing older homes to remodel and re-sell. From there he began to develop multi-family and commercial properties. As an employee and consultant to many major lenders Jim completed the re-development and re-sale of a hundred million dollars worth of income producing and commercial properties held by lenders following foreclosure in most of the western United States. These included office towers, industrial parks, marinas, agricultural properties, subdivisions, golf courses and others. As a trader and consultant in the secondary mortgage market Jim was a participant in the transaction or securitization of billions of dollars of real estate secured debt in North America and Europe. For decades the top real estate lenders, Wall Street brokerage firms and insurance companies have relied on Jim for his opinion of a wide variety of real estate analyses and transactions.
