Bio: I went into Real Estate as a full time career in 2000. In under 3 years I passed my state test to recieve my Broker. The other Designate I'm going after is a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). With only about 10,000 or so designates throughout the US I consider this group of real estate people to be among the elite in the profession. Before entering real estate...I spent 20 years in the construction industry prior to switching to Real Estate, and I was a General Contractor during some of this time. So I know what I'm talking about when I discuss a property with someone. I work mainly with investors, and I prefer to be on the Listing side of any real estate transaction. That way I know that the commercial property "for sale" ia prewsenting honest numbers...and not simply a nice sounding Proforma. Simply put...I like to think of myself as "the Un-Tax man," what I do for my commercial listing clientele is breakdown what the income actually was for the last 3 years of ownership. It's really more of a science then most people think. But it helps people actually set a fair market value on their investment. I better stop on that subject...or I'll end up writing a book! I prefer to deal mainly with real estate "sales," but occassionaly I'll go to work on a Business Opt. I also help Buyers & Sellers alike when it comes to leases. Many people never thnk of this aspect of commercial properties...but leases are actually the backbone of commercial investing! My specialty area in Residential Sales Market is Foreclosures. I specialize in pre-foreclosure listings. The reason I became interested in this aspect of the real estate market is that it's a 77 Billion dollar business. Not only the big market got me going in these...but when I was working with Buyers...I had 2 transactions fail because the listing agent didn't know what they were doing. I've been working with foreclosures for over 1 year now, and mine close on time. It's a good feeling helping people get out from under homes they just can't afford anymore for whatever reason. Plus the deal usually is a good one for the Buyer, so everyone comes out a winner when I handle foreclosures. I'm building a "real special" merchant banking commercial website for real estate investors. I'm hoping that it will be patented, copyrighted, and completed by the end of 2004. It's gonna be cool!!!!! Well, I've probably bored you enough with this Biography. So I'll stop writing now.
Professional Memberships: I'm a Commercial Real Estate Broker who also does foreclosure listinings in the Residential Market. I belong to 3 multiple listing services. They are the NWMLS, CBA (Commercial Broker's Association), and Loopnet. I am a CCIM Candidate (Certified Commercial Investment Member, and a Member of our Local CBA chapter. I'm a high tech style of Broker. I have a laptop set up in my car, and I'm on the road constantly. I own my own corporation - A'Head Investment Corporation, and plan on having my own brokerage within 2 years. I deal with mostly investors, and every client I take on does well. I have the software to breakdown commercial properties within minutes...that...compared to the "old style" CCIMs that are still around is a shock!
Awards and Achievements: I've got on major project going for myself, and that's creating my own commercial banking website. Members will learn how to obtain real the real bargins that are out there in Real Estate. Currently the website - www.AHeadInvestmentCorp.com is being patented, copyrighted, and built to my specifications. Hopefully it will be finished this year! That in itself will be a great achievement. Hopefully it will help people into homes and businesses for years to come.
