Bio: Meet your Agent – Dave Johnson With local ties to the cache valley that go back three generations, I can understand why Cache Valley continues to grow. Through the past 75 years members of my family have called Smithfield, Richmond, Lewiston, Hyrum, Logan, and North Logan home. I grew up in Colorado, which is where I found a love for the mountains. Being a high school athlete, I learned a lot about setting goals, working hard, focus, and dedication. I wanted to be near my extended family in Cache Valley, so I decided to apply to and was accepted by Utah State University. After I complete one year of school, I served a volunteer mission for two years in Tampico, Mexico. While I was there I reinforced my skills in leadership, verbal communication, understanding, compassion, and working with people. I also developed Spanish as a second language. At Utah State I turned my focus to Marketing. I learned the latest methods for today’s marketing tools including: ecommerce, internet design, buyer tendencies, focus groups, surveys, pricing, and video production Once I received my degree in Marketing with a minor in international business, I continued to develop skills in the retail market by managing the online retail sales of a local manufacture. As a Cache Valley Rep for Valpak I’ve improved my skills in direct mail. I also furthered my abilities in design elements, marketing campaigns, buyer knowledge, demographics, effective pricing, style, client expectations, and written communication. I am a family man with 2 children and a beautiful wife. My wife, Carrie, is my best friend and always keeps me on my toes. My daughter, Caydanne, enjoys being outside and going on walks to feed the goats. Little Hudson will always has a quick smile for everyone. My hobbies include watching movies and playing sports, mostly basketball and golf. I even find time, every now and again, to coach local youth sports. Even though my own kids are too young to play, I have plenty of cousins, nieces, and nephews that need assistance. I’ve always enjoy teaching children, and helping them learn characteristics that will help them in their lives. I have learned a lot with my experiences and education. I am now pairing these skills with my passion for real estate. My goal is to keep things as simple as possible with your experience of either buying or selling.
