Bio: I am a native of Middle Tennessee being in this area for over 50 years. My wife of 30 years, Debbie, and I reside in Mount Juliet. Debbie attended McGavock High School and has been with the Wilson County School System for over 11 years, currently as bookkeeper. I attended Donelson High School and The University of Tennessee Knoxville (yes my blood runs orange). I have been the director of the Nashville Air Show in Smyrna from 1996 to 2001 being on the board from 1994 to 1996. I served on the board of directors of the Doneslon-Hermitage Rotary Club from 1991 to 1994 and president of the club in 1994 and 2005, being named civic organization of the year. We are members of Hermitage United Methodist Church where I am the sound technician. I am a Pilatelist and enjoy restoring Vintage cars and woodworking. One of our best freinds is our miniature Schnauzer "Ralph". I was raised in the family grocery business. My father, Lee, taught the value of hard work and working with people. Later, I became manager of one of the Food Town stores in Hermitage. I was general Manager of a local distributor handling floral and gift supplies into chain store supermarkets in a four state area. We bought the distributor in 1989 and ran the business until we took our group to being Independent Sales Representatives. During this time we also developed the home delivery system for Kroger. We were early pioneers of a computer Bulletin Board System called "SOS", which was the largest on-line service in Nashville during its peak and a forerunner of the Internet boom. The service evolved into an Internet Service Provider. We have been investing in area Real Estate for over 25 years. We have two daughters. Beth, 23, who is a recent cum laude' graduate of Tennessee Tech. She is a geologist with a major in Global Information Systems working in North Carolina. Rachel, 21, attends MTSU and is majoring in special education. Rachel is a senior and has also been on the Dean's list each semester. My mother, Mary, resides in Old Hickory.
