Bio: A native Charlestonian and graduate of The Citadel, I proudly served twenty-two years in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Oficer, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. After earning a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina, I spent fourteen years developing and managing a commercial real estate portfolio. As Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of privately held investment company, I was responsible for the design, construction and management of over two million square feet of income producing properties. Following the sale of the entire real estate portfolio, my family elected to return to Charleston. Initially, I served two years as a real estate consultant on a major shopping center development, Centre Pointe. Finishing my consulting, I then look for other challenges. Joining the Prudential Carolina Real Estate Team as a Broker Associate, I specialize in Fine Homes and Historic Properties; Plantations, Horse Farms Hunting Lodges; Golf Course, Ocean and Water Front Homes in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties. Additionally, I frequently work with income producing and investment grade properties of all types. Of particular interest to me is the history of the Charleston and in the preservation and renovation of the architectural and cultural heritage of the city. I am currently working several builders specializing in renovation of older properties. On a personal level, my wife, Edith and I, have been happily married for over 46 years. We are blessed with a wonderful daughter, Stephanie, a terrific son-in-law, Trae, and two delightful grandchildren, Jack and Caroline. Stephanie works with me in my real estate busines while publishing the Gallery Guide and being a fulltime wife and mother.
