Bio: Your home is likely to be the most important financial investment in your life, therefore I would like you to be comfortable and confident in your real estate agent representing you in the sale of your investment. Please allow me to present you with some information about myself, my family and career as a real estate agent. I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. When I was four years old my family moved to San Diego, California. I attended Point Loma High School and earned my B.S. degree in Home Economics from San Diego State University. I also attended school at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington, Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, and Cal Poly State College in Pomona, California. I was a substitute teacher in Riverside and Porterville, California for several years while my husband completed his PhD in Entomology. My real estate career began in California in May of 1976. In the summer of 1976, my husband was transferred to Texas. Within a year of getting my Real Estate license in Texas, I opened a Century 21 Real Estate office in Weslaco, Texas and was the office manager and sales trainer, in addition to being part owner. In 1981 we returned to Riverside, California, where I began to expand my business. I gradually worked my way up to becoming the Top Producer for Century 21 Emery Real Estate in 1986. In 1987, our family moved again to Silver Spring, Maryland, where I became a licensed Realtor and joined Century 21 H.T. Brown in Maryland, the Mid-Atlantic's largest Century 21 franchise. After working there for two years, I became the Top Office Producer and Agent of the Year in 1989 and was just named Top Office Producer again in 1999. Since moving to Maryland, I have been awarded Centurion Sales Associate for seven years. The Centurion Status is awarded to the top 2% of Realtors in the Century 21 System. In 1995, I was inducted into the Century 21 Mid-Atlantic Hall of Fame for my significant achievements in the Real Estate Industry. My professional work ethic, personal drive, motivation and love for the real estate industry has allowed me to become one of the most productive salespersons in this area.
