In the past eight years, Dick has raised over $30,000 for Multiple Sclerosis through pledges received for his completion of the MS annual 150 mile bike ride. He has an annual commitment to Habitat for Humanity. Dick's efforts have been instrumental in helping to provide Sun Ovens in 3rd World countries. Sun Ovens preserve forest around the world and improve the health of the people. Dick is Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee for the Burr Ridge, Illinois Veterans Memorial. This Memorial to all who have served in the armed forces is scheduled to be built in 2005.
