Bio: Susan M. Moon - a consistent Top Producer, Certified Residential Specialist and Graduate Realtor has been in real estate in Bonner County since 1987. The Moon family, a pioneer timber family from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, came to Sandpoint in the early 1900's and has been in our area for generations. Susan came from Carmel, California to Sandpoint in 1968. She has been actively involved with our Bonner County Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service over the years serving as secretary to the Board and on Professional Standards and Grievance Committees and various other special events and projects.P Susan and her husband, L.G. Bud Moon, Jr. have been very active in the Sandpoint community and were involved in the original development of Westwood Village on the Pend Oreille River west of Sandpoint, consisting of condominiums and land development for Westwood Terrace and Westwood Square. Their energy and efforts contributed significantly to the Bonner County Museum construction project and to which they donated many family artifacts. Susan was Chairman of the museum's main fundraiser for the Annual Arts and Crafts Festival for some 8 years. She assisted in the development at Bottle Bay, known as Sourdough. Together, Susan and Bud were instrumental in the establishment of one of Idaho's first independent state banks, Panhandle State Bank. Bud is a mortician and ran the family business in Sandpoint and Priest River for many years and was a founding director of Schweitzer.P Susan and Bud melded their families in 1972 and have seven children, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, all of which they are very proud. They all live in the Northwest and enjoy many wonderful times together on Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain Resort. P Susan is a very dynamic and versatile lady and is very dedicated to her work. She is an extremely important asset to our Panhandle Kaniksu family. Through her studies and association with the National Association of Entrepreneurs, she has earned Certified Mortgage Investor and Certified Factoring Specialist designations. She purchases privately held real estate mortgages.
