Bio: When he's not serving the public as an agent in real estate, you can find Chris spending time with his very active family. He and his wife have two sons, ages ten and two. The distance in age of his boys allows for a variety of activities the whole family can enjoy. Tampa offers a number of family oriented attractions, and whenever possible, the Johnson's like to partake of as many as they can. You may find them relaxing poolside, visiting the Lowry Park Zoo, exploring the Florida Aquarium, or having "hands on" experiences at The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). Each of these locations affords opportunities for learning and fun for the whole family. The Johnson's enjoy learning about the past and take pleasure in vacationing in historic Charleston, SC. With nearly, "three hundred fifty warm, dry days a year," you might say it's a family vacation paradise. From museums, plantations, historic homes, beaches, and numerous restaurants, there are more than enough attractions to keep a young, active family on the go. Back at home, Chris does have a couple of personal outside hobbies. "Flat fishing" is one of his interests. This is salt water fishing in the shallow parts of the bay, catching trout, red fish, and snapper, among other types of fish. If he's not fishing, then Chris is busy careening around the local ice rink, playing hockey. He plays in an over-thirty league, and enjoys the exercise, as well as the camaraderie of his teammates and opponents. Chris has a background in the military, having served eight years in the U.S. Navy. And today he is a member of the Air Force Reserve, doing weekend duty once a month, and a two week stint each year. Through his local parish, Chris is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife are volunteers at their children's church school. Chris is a product of a parochial school system and is thankful that he can offer the same to his children. In other community efforts, Chris has been actively involved in fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network through his employer RE/MAX Realty Unlimited.
