Bio: LaVeta is native from Northwest Arkansas, married for over 18 years, with three great sons. LaVeta and family enjoy camping, traveling, and taking care of the “small farm” that pastures cattle, yard chickens, dogs, and their first kitten. During any free time LaVeta oil paints and enjoys reading a good book. LaVeta started in the Real Estate business in 1989 with her real estate license and managing 13 commercial buildings. She also took care of the Casual and Liability Insurance for the retail centers and the company’s 13 Best Western motels. In 1997, LaVeta acquired her Brokers License. Her next successful step in1998 was Vice President of Bentonville/Bella Vista Board of Realtors. 1999 she became the President Elect for the Bentonville/Bella Vista Board of Realtors and in 2000 was elected President. LaVeta serves at the pleasure of the Bentonville/Bella Vista Board of Realtors as a Director. A position she has held since 2002. LaVeta’s success kept accelerating, making her an Arkansas Multi-Million Dollar Member and a Lifetime Member of the Arkansas Realtors Associations Million Dollar Club. In 2003 she was awarded the Gold Award of Excellence and in 2004 she was awarded the Platinum Award of Excellence by the Arkansas Realtors Association. She has maintained her state leadership role since 1998. With all this success, in 2001 she decided to officially open her own real estate company, “KEY & ASSOCIATES, Realtors” to assist buyers and sellers in Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. The Company started out on her “dining room table” in Gravette with only 3 agents. The Company grew every day and there are now 10 agents and a new two-story building under construction in Hiwasse, with opening scheduled for September, 2005. While managing her real estate company she participates in a real estate coaching/mentoring program and has since 1999. She is a Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI) and is working toward her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) degree.
