If You Are a Buyer: As a broker practicing single agency, I do not represent both parties in a transaction. For properties I have listed, I will represent the seller only. If You Need an Exchange: There are many situations in which an exchange for other property is more advantageous than a sale. The most common reason is a tax deferred exchange under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. Usually you should work with an experienced exchange broker.
